厨役就把腿和腿上的那部分拿起来，摆在扫罗面前。撒母耳说：“看哪，这是保留下来的！把它摆在你面前吃吧；因为这是为你留到指定时候的，因为我说过：‘我已经邀请了百姓。’”那一天，扫罗就与撒母耳一同吃饭。
