于是他们拿住耶利米，把他丢进王子玛基雅的牢坑里；那牢坑在护卫院中。他们用绳子把耶利米缒下去。牢坑里没有水，只有淤泥，耶利米就陷在淤泥中。

Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
