Deuteronomy 1:5On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,
Deuteronomy 2:8And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

Deuteronomy 34:5So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
Deuteronomy 34:6And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
Deuteronomy 34:8And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
