1 John 1:5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 2:7Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
1 John 2:19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
1 John 2:21I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1 John 2:27But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
