Luke 1:24And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,

Luke 1:29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

Luke 1:63And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.

Luke 1:66And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

Luke 4:4And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Luke 4:34Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

Luke 4:35And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

Luke 4:36And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Luke 4:41And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

Luke 5:8When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Luke 5:12And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Luke 5:13And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

Luke 5:21And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

Luke 5:26And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

Luke 5:30But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

Luke 7:4And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:

Luke 7:6Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:

Luke 7:16And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

Luke 7:19And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

Luke 7:20When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

Luke 7:32They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

Luke 7:39Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

Luke 8:9And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

Luke 8:24And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Luke 8:25And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Luke 8:30And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

Luke 8:38Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

Luke 8:49While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

Luke 8:50But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

Luke 8:54And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

Luke 9:18And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?

Luke 9:22Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

Luke 9:35And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Luke 9:38And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.

Luke 9:45But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

Luke 10:17And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Luke 10:25And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Luke 11:45Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.

Luke 12:16And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

Luke 12:17And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

Luke 13:25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Luke 13:31The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

Luke 14:3And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?

Luke 14:5And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

Luke 14:7And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them,

Luke 14:30Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

Luke 15:2And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

Luke 15:3And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

Luke 15:6And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

Luke 15:9And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

Luke 17:4And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Luke 18:2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

Luke 18:3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

Luke 18:34And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

Luke 18:38And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Luke 18:41Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

Luke 19:7And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

Luke 19:14But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

Luke 19:16Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.

Luke 19:18And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.

Luke 19:20And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:

Luke 19:30Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.

Luke 19:38Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

Luke 19:42Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

Luke 19:46Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Luke 20:2And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

Luke 20:5And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?

Luke 20:14But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

Luke 20:21And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:

Luke 20:28Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

Luke 21:7And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Luke 21:8And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Luke 22:8And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

Luke 22:19And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Luke 22:20Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Luke 22:42Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Luke 22:57And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

Luke 22:59And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.

Luke 22:64And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

Luke 22:66And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

Luke 23:2And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

Luke 23:3And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

Luke 23:5And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

Luke 23:18And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

Luke 23:21But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

Luke 23:35And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

Luke 23:37And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

Luke 23:39And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

Luke 23:40But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

Luke 23:47Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

Luke 24:7Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Luke 24:23And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

Luke 24:29But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
