The sacrifices of the impious are abominable to the Lord. The vows of the just are appeasing.

7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so. This is to the same purport with v. 2 , and shows what a blessing a wise man is and what a burden a fool is to those about him. Only here observe further, 1.
