If it be that your people shall go forth to war against their enemies in the way by which you shall turn them, and pray in the name of the Lord + 8:44 Gr. by way of. toward the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built to your name,

If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built for thy name:
