Psalms 10

For the end, a Psalm of David. 1 In the Lord I have put my trust: how will ye say to my soul, 1 Flee to the mountains as a sparrow? 1

For behold the sinners have bent their bow, 1 They have prepared their arrows for the quiver, 1 To shoot privily at the upright in heart. 1

For they have pulled down what thou didst frame, 1 But what has the righteous done? 1

The Lord is in his holy temple, 1 As for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: 1 His eyes look upon the poor, 1 His eyelids try the sons of men. 1

The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: 1 And he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul. 1

He shall rain upon sinners snares, 1 Fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast shall be the portion of their cup. 1

For the Lord is righteous, and loves righteousness; 1 His face beholds uprightness.
