Psalms 102
A Psalm of David. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul; 1 And all that is within me, bless his holy name. 1
Bless the Lord, O my soul, 1 And forget not all his praises: 1
Who forgives all thy transgressions, 1 Who heals all thy diseases; 1
Who redeems thy life from corruption; 1 Who crowns thee with mercy and compassion; 1
Who satisfies thy desire with good things: 1 So that thy youth shall be renewed like that of the eagle. 1
The Lord executes mercy 1 And judgment for all that are injured. 1
He made known his ways to Moses, 1 His will to the children of Israel. 1
The Lord is compassionate and pitiful, 1 Long-suffering, and full of mercy. 1
He will not be always angry; 1 Neither will he be wrathful forever. 1
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, 1 Nor recompensed us according to our iniquities. 1
For as the heaven is high above the earth, 1 The Lord has so increased his mercy toward them that fear him. 1
As far as the east is from the west, 1 So far has he removed our transgressions from us. 1
As a father pities his children, 1 The Lord pities them that fear him. 1
For he knows our frame: 1 Remember that we are dust. 1
As for man, his days are as grass; 1 As a flower of the field, so shall he flourish. 1
For the wind passes over it, and it shall not be; 1 And it shall know its place no more. 1
But the mercy of the Lord is from generation to generation upon them that fear him, 1 And his righteousness to children’s children; 1
To them that keep his covenant, 1 And remember his commandments to do them. 1
The Lord has prepared his throne in the heaven; 1 And his kingdom rules over all. 1
Bless the Lord, all ye his angels, 1 Mighty in strength, who perform his bidding, 1 Ready to hearken to the voice of his words. 1
Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts; 1 Ye ministers of his that do his will. 1
Bless the Lord, all his works, 1 In every place of his dominion: 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul.
