Psalms 111
1Alleluia. 1 Blessed is the man that fears the Lord: 1 He will delight greatly in his commandments. 1
2His seed shall be mighty in the earth: 1 The generation of the upright shall be blessed. 1
3Glory and riches shall be in his house; 1 And his righteousness endures for evermore. 1
4To the upright light has sprung up in darkness: 1 He is pitiful, and merciful, and righteous. 1
5The good man is he that pities and lends: 1 He will direct his affairs with judgment. 1
6For he shall not be moved forever; 1 The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 1
7He shall not be afraid of any evil report: 1 His heart is ready to trust in the Lord. 1
8His heart is established, he shall not fear, 1 Till he shall see his desire upon his enemies. 1
9He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor; 1 His righteousness endures for evermore: 1 His horn shall be exalted with honor. 1
10The sinner shall see and be angry, 1 He shall gnash his teeth, and consume away: 1 The desire of the sinner shall perish.
