Psalms 119
A Song of Degrees. 1 In mine affliction I cried to the Lord, 1 And he hearkened to me. 1
Deliver my soul, O Lord, from unjust lips, 1 And from a deceitful tongue. 1
What should be given to thee, and what should be added to thee, 1 For thy crafty tongue? 1
Sharpened weapons of the mighty, 1 With coals of the desert. 1
Woe is me, that my sojourning is prolonged; 1 I have tabernacled among the tents of Kedar. 1
My soul has long been a sojourner; 1
I was peaceable among them that hated peace; 1 When I spoke to them, they warred against me without a cause.
