Psalms 124

1A Song of Degrees. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion: 1 He that dwells in Jerusalem shall never be moved. 1

2The mountains are round about her, 1 And so the Lord is round about his people, 1 From henceforth and even forever. 1

3For the Lord will not allow the rod of sinners 1 To be upon the lot of the righteous; 1 Lest the righteous should stretch forth 1 Their hands to iniquity. 1

4Do good, O Lord, to them that are good, 1 And to them that are upright in heart. 1

5But them that turn aside to crooked ways 1 The Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity: 1 But peace shall be upon Israel.
