Psalms 125

1A Song of Degrees. 1 When the Lord turned the captivity of Zion, 1 We became as comforted ones. 1

2Then was our mouth filled with joy, 1 And our tongue with exultation: 1 Then would they say among the Gentiles, 1

3The Lord has done great things among them. 1 The Lord has done great things for us, 1 We became joyful. 1

4Turn, O Lord, our captivity, 1 As the streams in the south. 1

5They that sow in tears 1 Shall reap in joy. 1

6They went on and wept 1 As they cast their seeds; 1 But they shall surely come with exultation, 1 Bringing their sheaves with them.
