Psalms 129

1A Song of Degrees. 1 Out of the depths have I cried to thee, O Lord. 1

2O Lord, hearken to my voice; 1 Let thine ears be attentive 1 To the voice of my supplication. 1

3If thou, O Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, 1 O Lord, who shall stand? 1

4For with thee is forgiveness: 1 For thy name’s sake

5have I waited for thee, O Lord, 1 My soul has waited for thy word. 1

6My soul has hoped in the Lord; 1 From the morning watch till night. 1

7Let Israel hope in the Lord: 1 For with the Lord is mercy, 1 And with him is plenteous redemption. 1

8And he shall redeem Israel 1 From all his iniquities.
