Psalms 134
Alleluia. 1 Praise ye the name of the Lord; 1 Praise the Lord, ye his servants, 1
Who stand in the house of the Lord, 1 In the courts of the house of our God. 1
Praise ye the Lord; for the Lord is good: 1 Sing praises to his name; for it is good. 1
For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, 1 And Israel for his peculiar treasure. 1
For I know that the Lord is great, 1 And our Lord is above all gods; 1
All that the Lord willed, 1 He did in heaven, and on the earth, 1 In the sea, and in all deeps. 1
Who brings up clouds from the extremity of the earth: 1 He has made lightnings for the rain: 1 He brings winds out of his treasures. 1
Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, 1 Both of man and beast. 1
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, 1 On Pharaoh, and on all his servants. 1
Who smote many nations, 1 And slew mighty kings; 1
Sihon king of the Amorites, 1 And Og king of Bashan, 1 And all the kingdoms of Canaan: 1
And gave their land for an inheritance, 1 An inheritance to Israel his people. 1
O Lord, thy name endures forever, 1 And thy memorial to all generations. 1
For the Lord shall judge his people, 1 And comfort himself concerning his servants. 1
The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, 1 The works of men’s hands. 1
They have a mouth, but they cannot speak; 1 They have eyes, but they cannot see; 1
They have ears, but they cannot hear; 1 For there is no breath in their mouth. 1
Let those who make them be made like to them; 1 And all those who trust in them. 1
O house of Israel, bless ye the Lord: 1 O house of Aaron, bless ye the Lord: 1
O house of Levi, bless ye the Lord: 1 Ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord. 1
Blessed in Zion be the Lord, 1 Who dwells in Jerusalem.
