Psalms 145
Alleluia, a Psalm of Haggai and Zechariah. 1 My soul, praise the Lord. 1
While I live will I praise the Lord: 1 I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist. 1
Trust not in princes, 1 Nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety. 1
His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; 1 In that day all his thoughts shall perish. 1
Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, 1 Whose hope is in the Lord his God: 1
Who made heaven, and earth, 1 The sea, and all things in them: 1 Who keeps truth forever: 1
Who executes judgment for the wronged: 1 Who gives food to the hungry. 1 The Lord looses the fettered ones: 1
The Lord gives wisdom to the blind: 1 The Lord sets up the broken down: 1 The Lord loves the righteous: 1 The Lord preserves the strangers; 1
He will relieve the orphan and widow: 1 But will utterly remove the way of sinners. 1
The Lord shall reign forever, 1 Even thy God, O Zion, to all generations.
