Psalms 147

1Alleluia, a Psalm of Haggai and Zechariah. 1 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; 1 Praise thy God, O Zion. 1

2For he has strengthened the bars of thy gates; 1 He has blessed thy children within thee. 1

3He makes thy borders peaceful, 1 And fills thee with the flour of wheat. 1

4He sends his oracle to the earth: 1 His word will run swiftly. 1

5He gives snow like wool: 1 He scatters the mist like ashes. 1

6Casting forth his ice like morsels: 1 Who shall stand before his cold? 1

7He shall send out his word, and melt them: 1 He shall blow with his wind, and the waters shall flow. 1

8He sends his word to Jacob, 1 His ordinances and judgments to Israel. 1

9He has not done so to any other nation; 1 And he has not shown them his judgments.
