Psalms 148
Alleluia, a Psalm of Haggai and Zechariah. 1 Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: 1 Praise him in the highest. 1
Praise ye him, all his angels: 1 Praise ye him, all his hosts. 1
Praise him, sun and moon: 1 Praise him, all ye stars and light. 1
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, 1 And the water that is above the heavens. 1
Let them praise the name of the Lord: 1 For he spoke, and they were made; 1 He commanded, and they were created. 1
He has established them forever, even forever and ever: 1 He has made an ordinance, and it shall not pass away. 1
Praise the Lord from the earth, 1 Ye serpents, and all deeps. 1
Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy wind; 1 The things that perform his word. 1
Mountains, and all hills; 1 Fruitful trees, and all cedars: 1
Wild beasts, and all cattle; 1 Reptiles, and winged birds: 1
Kings of the earth, and all peoples; 1 Princes, and all judges of the earth: 1
Young men and virgins, 1 Old men with youths: 1
Let them praise the name of the Lord: 1 For his name only is exalted; 1 His praise is above the earth and heaven, 1
And he shall exalt the horn of his people, 1 There is a hymn for all his saints, 1 Even of the children of Israel, a people who draw near to him.
