Psalms 23
A Psalm for David on the first day of the week. 1 The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; 1 The world, and all that dwell in it. 1
He has founded it upon the seas, 1 And prepared it upon the rivers. 1
Who shall go up to the mountain of the Lord, 1 And who shall stand in his holy place? 1
He that is innocent in his hands and pure in his heart; 1 Who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, 1 Nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbor. 1
He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, 1 And mercy from God his Savior. 1
This is the generation of them that seek him, 1 That seek the face of the God of Jacob. Pause. 1
Lift up your gates, ye princes, 1 And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; 1 And the king of glory shall come in. 1
Who is this king of glory? 1 The Lord strong and mighty, 1 The Lord mighty in battle. 1
Lift up your gates, ye princes; 1 And be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; 1 And the king of glory shall come in. 1
Who is this king of glory? 1 The Lord of hosts, he is this king of glory.
