Psalms 45
1For the end, for the sons of Korah; a Psalm concerning secret things. 1
2God is our refuge and strength, 1 A help in the afflictions that have come heavily upon us. 1
3Therefore will we not fear when the earth is troubled, 1 And the mountains are removed into the depths of the seas. 1
4Their waters have roared and been troubled, 1 The mountains have been troubled by his might. Pause. 1
5The flowings of the river gladden the city of God: 1 The Most High has sanctified his tabernacle. 1
6God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: 1 God shall help her with his countenance. 1
7The nations were troubled, the kingdoms tottered: 1 He uttered his voice, the earth shook. 1
8The Lord of hosts is with us; 1 The God of Jacob is our helper. Pause. 1
9Come, and behold the works of the Lord, 1 What wonders he has achieved on the earth. 1
10Putting an end to wars as for the ends of the earth; 1 He will crush the bow, and break in pieces the weapon, 1 And burn the bucklers with fire. 1
11Be still, and know that I am God: 1 I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. 1
12The Lord of hosts is with us; 1 The God of Jacob is our helper.
