Psalms 46
1For the end, a Psalm for the sons of Korah. 1
2Clap your hands, all ye nations; 1 Shout to God with a voice of exultation. 1
3For the Lord most high is terrible; 1 He is a great king over all the earth. 1
4He has subdued the peoples under us, 1 And the nations under our feet. 1
5He has chosen out his inheritance for us, 1 The beauty of Jacob which he loved. Pause. 1
6God is gone up with a shout, 1 The Lord with a sound of a trumpet. 1
7Sing praises to our God, sing praises: 1 Sing praises to our King, sing praises. 1
8For God is king of all the earth: 1 Sing praises with understanding. 1
9God reigns over the nations: 1 God sits upon the throne of his holiness. 1
10The rulers of the people are assembled with the God of Abraham: 1 For God’s mighty ones of the earth have been greatly exalted.
