Psalms 52
1For the end, a Psalm of David upon Mahalath, of instruction. 1
2The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. 1 They have corrupted themselves, and become abominable in iniquities: 1 There is none that does good. 1
3God looked down from heaven upon the sons of men, 1 To see if there were any that understood, or sought after God. 1
4They have all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; 1 There is none that does good, there is not even one. 1
5Will none of the workers of iniquity know, 1 Who devour my people as they would eat bread? 1 They have not called upon God. 1 There were they greatly afraid, where there was no fear: 1
6For God has scattered the bones of the men pleasers; 1 They were ashamed, for God despised them. 1
7Who will bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion? 1 When the Lord turns the captivity of his people, 1 Jacob shall exult, and Israel shall be glad.
