2O God, hearken to my petition; 1 Attend to my prayer. 1
3From the ends of the earth have I cried to thee, 1 When my heart was in trouble: 1 Thou liftedst me up on a rock, 1 Thou didst guide me:
4because thou wert my hope, 1 A tower of strength from the face of the enemy. 1
5I will dwell in thy tabernacle forever; 1 I will shelter myself under the shadow of thy wings. Pause. 1
6For thou, O God, hast heard my prayers; 1 Thou hast given an inheritance to them that fear thy name. 1
7Thou shalt add days to the days of the king; 1 Thou shalt lengthen his years to all generations. 1
8He shall endure forever before God: 1 Which of them will seek out his mercy and truth? 1
9So will I sing to thy name forever and ever, 1 That I may daily perform my vows.
