Psalms 64
For the end, a Psalm and Song of David. 1
Praise becomes thee, O God, in Zion; 1 And to thee shall the vow be performed. 1
Hear my prayer; 1 To thee all flesh shall come. 1
The words of transgressors have overpowered us; 1 But do thou pardon our sins. 1
Blessed is he whom thou hast chosen and adopted; 1 He shall dwell in thy courts; 1 We shall be filled with the good things of thy house; 1 Thy temple is holy.
Thou art wonderful in righteousness. 1 Hearken to us, O God our Savior; 1 The hope of all the ends of the earth, 1 And of them that are on the sea afar off: 1
Who dost establish the mountains in thy strength, 1 Being girded about with power; 1
Who troublest the depth of the sea, 1 The sounds of its waves. 1
The nations shall be troubled, and they that inhabit the ends of the earth shall be afraid of thy signs; 1 Thou wilt cause the outgoings of morning and evening to rejoice. 1
Thou hast visited the earth, and saturated it; 1 Thou hast abundantly enriched it. 1 The river of God is filled with water; 1 Thou hast prepared their food, for thus is the preparation of it. 1
Saturate her furrows, 1 Multiply her fruits; 1 The crop springing up shall rejoice in its drops. 1
Thou wilt bless the crown of the year because of thy goodness; 1 And thy plains shall be filled with fatness. 1
The mountains of the wilderness shall be enriched; 1 And the hills shall gird themselves with joy. 1
The rams of the flock are clothed with wool, 1 And the valleys shall abound in corn; 1 They shall cry aloud, yea they shall sing hymns.
