Psalms 65
For the end, a Song of a Psalm of resurrection. 1 Shout unto God, all the earth. 1
O sing praises to his name; 1 Give glory to his praise. 1
Say unto God, How awful are thy works! 1 Through the greatness of thy power thine enemies shall lie to thee. 1
Let all the earth worship thee, and sing to thee; 1 Let them sing to thy name. Pause. 1
Come and behold the works of God; 1 He is terrible in his counsels beyond the children of men. 1
Who turns the sea into dry land; 1 They shall go through the river on foot; 1 There shall we rejoice in him, 1
Who by his power is Lord over the age, 1 His eyes look upon the nations; 1 Let not them that provoke him be exalted in themselves. Pause. 1
Bless our God, ye Gentiles, 1 And make the voice of his praise to be heard; 1
Who quickens my soul in life, 1 And does not suffer my feet to be moved. 1
For thou, O God, hast proved us; 1 Thou hast tried us with fire as silver is tried. 1
Thou broughtest us into the snare; 1 Thou laidest afflictions on our back. 1
Thou didst mount men upon our heads; 1 We went through fire and water; 1 But thou broughtest us out into a place of refreshment. 1
I will go into thy house with whole burnt offerings; 1 I will pay thee my vows, 1
Which my lips framed, 1 And my mouth uttered in my affliction. 1
I will offer to thee whole burnt sacrifices full of marrow, 1 With incense and rams; 1 I will sacrifice to thee oxen with goats. Pause. 1
Come, hear, and I will tell, 1 All ye that fear God, 1 How great things he has done for my soul. 1
I cried to him with my mouth, and exalted him with my tongue. 1
If I have regarded iniquity in my heart, 1 Let not the Lord hearken to me. 1
Therefore God has hearkened to me; 1 He has attended to the voice of my prayer. 1
Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, 1 Nor his mercy from me.
