Psalms 74
For the end, Destroy not, a Psalm of a Song for Asaph. 1
We will give thanks to thee, O God, 1 We will give thanks, and call upon thy name: 1 I will declare all thy wonderful works. 1
When I shall take a set time, I will judge righteously. 1
The earth is dissolved, and all that dwell in it: 1 I have strengthened its pillars. Pause. 1
I said unto the transgressors, Do not transgress; 1 And to the sinners, Lift not up the horn. 1
Lift not up your horn on high; 1 Speak not unrighteousness against God. 1
For good comes neither from the east, nor from the west, 1 Nor from the desert mountains. 1
For God is the judge; 1 He puts down one, and raises up another. 1
For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, 1 Full of unmingled wine; 1 And he has turned it from side to side, 1 But its dregs have not been wholly poured out; 1 All the sinners of the earth shall drink them. 1
But I will exult forever: 1 I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. 1
And I will break all the horns of sinners; 1 But the horns of the righteous one shall be exalted.
