Psalms 81

1A Psalm for Asaph. 1 God stands in the assembly of gods; 1 And in the midst of them will judge gods. 1

2How long will ye judge unrighteously, 1 And accept the persons of sinners? Pause. 1

3Judge the orphan and poor: 1 Do justice to the low and needy. 1

4Rescue the needy, and deliver the poor 1 Out of the hand of the sinner. 1

5They know not, nor understand; 1 They walk on in darkness: 1 All the foundations of the earth shall be shaken. 1

6I have said, Ye are gods; 1 And all of you children of the Most High. 1

7But ye die as men, 1 And fall as one of the princes. 1

8Arise, O God, judge the earth: 1 For thou shalt inherit all nations.
