Psalms 84
1For the end, a Psalm for the sons of Korah. 1
2O Lord, thou hast taken pleasure in thy land: 1 Thou hast turned back the captivity of Jacob. 1
3Thou hast forgiven thy people their transgressions; 1 Thou hast covered all their sins. Pause. 1
4Thou hast caused all thy wrath to cease: 1 Thou hast turned from thy fierce anger. 1
5Turn us, O God of our salvation, 1 And turn thine anger away from us. 1
6Wouldest thou be angry with us forever? 1 Or wilt thou continue thy wrath from generation to generation? 1
7O God, thou wilt turn and quicken us; 1 And thy people shall rejoice in thee. 1
8Show us thy mercy, O Lord, 1 And grant us thy salvation. 1
9I will hear what the Lord God will say concerning me: 1 For he shall speak peace to his people, 1 And to his saints, 1 And to those that turn their heart toward him. 1
10Moreover his salvation is near them that fear him; 1 That glory may dwell in our land. 1
11Mercy and truth are met together: 1 Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. 1
12Truth has sprung out of the earth; 1 And righteousness has looked down from heaven. 1
13For the Lord will give goodness; 1 And our land shall yield her fruit. 1
14Righteousness shall go before him; 1 And shall set his steps in the way.
