Psalms 96
1For David, when his land is established. 1 The Lord reigns, let the earth exult, 1 Let many islands rejoice. 1
2Cloud and darkness are round about him; 1 Righteousness and judgment are the establishment of his throne. 1
3Fire shall go before him, 1 And burn up his enemies round about. 1
4His lightnings appeared to the world; 1 The earth saw, and trembled. 1
5The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, 1 At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. 1
6The heavens have declared his righteousness, 1 And all the people have seen his glory. 1
7Let all that worship graven images be ashamed, 1 Who boast of their idols; 1 Worship him, all ye his angels. 1
8Zion heard and rejoiced; 1 And the daughters of Judea exulted, 1 Because of thy judgments, O Lord. 1
9For thou art Lord most high over all the earth; 1 Thou art greatly exalted above all gods. 1
10Ye that love the Lord, hate evil; 1 The Lord preserves the souls of his saints; 1 He shall deliver them from the hand of sinners. 1
11Light is sprung up for the righteous, 1 And gladness for the upright in heart. 1
12Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; 1 And give thanks for a remembrance of his holiness.
