The men went and traversed the country, mapping it out by towns into seven parts, and brought their written report to Joshua at the camp in Shilo.

And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.

8Then the men started, ordered by Joshua to travel through the land and map it out before they returned to him. Then he would draw lots for them before the Lord at Shilo.

10Joshua then drew lots for them at Shilo before the Lord, where he divided the land for the Israelites according to their divisions.
