+ 16:21. Deut 16:21 (#2a.83): T. Not to plant a tree as a sacred pole beside the altar of Adonai / R. Not to plant a tree in the Temple courtyard You shall not plant for yourselves an Asherah of any kind of tree beside Adonai your God’s altar, which you shall make for yourselves.
