and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). + 9:7 Context: This is still the seventh month 22nd day, the Festival of Sh'mini Atrzeret ·Eighth day Assembly·, a separate and linked Festival for one day following Sukkot ·Tabernacles·. There was a very significant water drawing ceremony from this very same pool just one day earlier. (See John 7:37). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.
