+ 35:25. Num 35:25 (Num 35:22-29) (#6.402): To exile in the city of refuge the person who committed an accidental killing or manslaughter, until the Cohen Gadol ·High Priest· dies T. Note: Specificity the Cohen Gadol ·High Priest· of that year, for the High Priest’s role changes annually The congregation shall deliver the man slayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he had fled. He shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.
