1 John 3:17

Think about this. Some of us Christians have food and money. Well, if we see another Christian that needs help, like maybe they don’t have enough food or clothes or something, then we have to feel sorry for them, and we have to help them. If we don’t do that, then we are not loving people in the way that God loves them.

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

16Do you want to know how to love people properly? Think about Jesus. He really loved us a lot. He loved us so much that he died to save us. In the same way, we have to be ready to do anything to help other Christians. Yes, we even have to be ready to die for them.

18My Christian friends, we can’t just say that we love people and then do nothing. No. We have to love people properly, and do things to help them.
