All of us mob believe that, and it makes us really happy. And we try to be like Jesus now. You know that Jesus is properly good, he never does anything bad. So we always try to keep away from doing anything bad too.

In The King James Version

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

In Context

2My friends, we are already God’s kids now, and that’s a really good thing. But later, on the day when Jesus comes back, God will do even more good things for us. You see, on that day, God will change us, so that we will be like Jesus. We don’t understand everything about that yet, but we know for sure that it will happen. Yes, we will see Jesus, we will see what he is like, and we will become just like him.

4You know that God’s law tells people the right way to live. So if anyone keeps on doing bad things, they are going against God’s law. That’s right. People that do bad things, they break God’s law.
