Romans 8:1
The important thing that I want to say now is this. If we belong to Jesus Christ, God will never say we are guilty.

John 3:18If anyone believes in God’s son, then God will not say they are guilty. But if anyone does not believe in him, God has already said they are guilty. You see, they do not believe in God’s only son, his special son.

The apostle, having fully explained the doctrine of justification, and pressed the necessity of sanctification, in this chapter applies himself to the consolation of the Lord's people.
