Then even though Judas, who was called the man from Kerioth village, was one of the twelve disciples, Satan entered him.

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

2The chief priests and the men who taught the Jewish laws were seeking a way to kill Jesus. But they wanted to do it secretly, because they were afraid that if they did not do it secretly, the people might riot.

4Judas went and conferred with the chief priests and the officers of the Temple guards. He discussed with them how he could enable them to seize Jesus.
