Now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate there is a pool, called Bethesda in Hebrew, which has five porticoes.

Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

1After this came the feast of the Jews, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

3In the porticoes were lying a great multitude of disabled people, including the blind, the lame, and the paralyzed, who were waiting for the moving of the water.
