Yoʋ will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”

18do not boast against the branches. But if yoʋ do boast against them, remember that yoʋ do not sustain the root, but the root sustains yoʋ.

20Right! They were broken off because of unbelief, but yoʋ stand because of faith. So do not be arrogant, but be afraid.
