And let these words, + 8:59 Gr. as. which I have prayed before the Lord our God, be + 8:59 Gr. approaching. near to the Lord our God day and night, to maintain the cause of your servant, and the cause of your people Israel + 8:59 Gr. a thing or word of a day in a day of a year. But Alex. reads ἡμέρᾳ αὐτοῦ, which agrees with the Heb. for ever.
