Deuteronomy 8:3

And he afflicted you and straitened you with hunger, and fed you with manna, which your fathers knew not; that he might teach you that + 8:3 Matt 4:4 man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God shall man live.
