Accept, I beg you, the willing offerings of my mouth. LORD, teach me your ordinances.

107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord , according unto thy word. Here is, 1. The representation David makes of the sorrowful condition he was in: I am afflicted very much, afflicted in spirit; he seems to mean that especially.
