51و چوب سرو و شاخهٔ زوفا و نخ قرمز و پرندهٔ زنده را بگیرد و در خون پرنده‌ای که سربریده است و همچنین در آب روان فرو کند و هفت بار بر خانه بپاشد.

53سپس پرندهٔ زنده را بیرون شهر در صحرا رها کند. این است روش تطهیر خانه.»
