« Le roi a vu un veilleur, un saint, descendre du ciel et dire: “Abattez l'arbre et détruisez-le; toutefois, laissez en terre la souche de ses racines, entourée d'un lien de fer et de bronze, dans la tendre herbe des champs; qu'il soit trempé par la rosée du ciel, et qu'il partage le sort des bêtes des champs, jusqu'à ce que sept temps passent sur lui.”
