Tous ceux-ci sont les descendants d’Aser et chefs d'autant de familles, fort distingués et considérés comme les plus braves d'entre ceux qui commandaient les armées. Le nombre de ceux qui étaient en âge de porter les armes sous David montait à vingt-six mille.
