Les Lévites descendirent l’arche de Dieu avec la cassette qui était auprès, où étaient les figures d’or, et ils les mirent sur cette grande pierre. Les Bethsamites offrirent alors des holocaustes, et immolèrent des victimes au Seigneur.

En Contexte

14Le chariot vint se rendre dans le champ de Josué, Bethsamite, et s’arrêta là. Il y avait au même lieu une grande pierre; et les Bethsamites ayant coupé en pièces le bois du chariot, mirent les vaches dessus et les offrirent au Seigneur en holocauste.

16Les cinq princes des Philistins ayant vu ceci, retournèrent le même jour à Accaron.
