He that regardeth instruction, is in the way of life: but he that refuseth correction, goeth out of the way.

16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. Solomon here confirms what his father had said ( Ps. xxxvii. 16 ), A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. 1.
