וַיִּשְׁלַח אֶת ־ הֲדֽוֹרָם ־ בְּנוֹ אֶל ־ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ ־ דָּוִיד לשאול ־ לוֹ לְשָׁלוֹם וּֽלְבָרֲכוֹ עַל אֲשֶׁר נִלְחַם בַּהֲדַדְעֶזֶר וַיַּכֵּהוּ כִּי ־ אִישׁ מִלְחֲמוֹת תֹּעוּ הָיָה הֲדַדְעָזֶר וְכֹל כְּלֵי זָהָב וָכֶסֶף וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת ׃
