וַיְהִי לְעֵת תְּשׁוּבַת הַשָּׁנָה לְעֵת ׀ צֵאת הַמְּלָכִים וַיִּנְהַג יוֹאָב אֶת ־ חֵיל הַצָּבָא וַיַּשְׁחֵת ׀ אֶת ־ אֶרֶץ בְּנֵֽי ־ עַמּוֹן וַיָּבֹא וַיָּצַר אֶת ־ רַבָּה וְדָוִיד יֹשֵׁב בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָם וַיַּךְ יוֹאָב אֶת ־ רַבָּה וַיֶּֽהֶרְסֶֽהָ ׃
