בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי שִׁלַּח אֶת ־ הָעָם וַֽיְבָרֲכוּ אֶת ־ הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיֵּלְכוּ לְאָהֳלֵיהֶם שְׂמֵחִים וְטוֹבֵי לֵב עַל כָּל ־ הַטּוֹבָה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה יְהוָה לְדָוִד עַבְדּוֹ וּלְיִשְׂרָאֵל עַמּֽוֹ ׃
